PGWE02_hwk.txt Write a letter of application to (1) study at a university or institute of higher learning [STUDENT], OR (2) work in research or another related job with a reputable company or research institute [WORK] Please use standard A4 paper, and properly format your letter. Typed work is preferred over hand-written, but if you do the latter, it should be clear and legible. Check the examples in your text on pages 115 to 122. If you are ambitious and you are doing #1, check out some doctoral programs at some English-medium universities in Canada (USA, UK, ...). Imagine you have finished your master's, and want to continue your studies and go for your PhD. Write your letter of application to that university for that particular program. If you are ambitious and you are doing #2, check the internet for a real job vacancy that you think would be suitable for you (after you finish your Master's), and apply for that job. Try to make this a realistic, practical experience for yourself. No lates, please.
