__Wiki words__\nWiki words (first letter and at least one other letter are capitalized) creates a hyperlink to another tiddly or document. If you haven't made the tiddler yet, it is italics. Click on it, and you start to make the new tiddler. After you make the tiddler, it will appear in non-italic font, and can be referred to by other tiddlers just by writing its title. If you want the word //Edelweiss// to be a tiddler, you have to capitalize the first E and another letter (maybe the last one).\n\nTo make a non-wiki word into a wiki link, enclose it in double square brackets. Here is a non wiki word link.\n\n!!!!HowToWiki

So when you start a wiki writing session, go to //options// and change the name to your name. If you write your name as a FormatWikiWord, you can create a profile of yourself.\n\n__Changing your wiki__\nAfter you change a tiddler and click //done//, it will //save// it. Click //topmost// to remove the //save// message.\n\n__NewTiddler__\nThis will open up a new tiddler. Rename it, and add some content, then click //done// to save it and see it. Since it is a tiddler, it will always be in the All list under N.\n\n__flatten__\nClick on //flatten// to collapse a tiddler and see only its title.\n\n__tiptop__\nClick on //tiptop// to grab a tiddler and place it in the top position (top of the paper pile).\n\n__permalink__\nClick on //permalink// to see the URL in the address bar of your browser that will link to that tiddler.\n\n__references__\nClick on //references// if you want to see what other tiddlers in the collection refer to the current open one.\n\n__destroy__\nClick on //destroy// to remove or discard a tiddler.\n\n__Timeline__\nClick on //Timeline// to see a chronological title list of all tiddlers. Click on //Min// to close it.\n\n__All__\nClick on //All// to see an alphabetical title list of all tiddlers. Click on //Min// to close it.\n\n__Min__\nClick on //Min// to minimize the yellow sidebar.\n\n__close all__\nThis will close all open and flattened tiddlers.\n\n__options__\nClick on //options// to change the Username. Check on //Autosave// so that changes are made during the session. Uncheck this at your own risk. I haven't fully understood how the other options work. Click again on //options// to close the options command panel. See above note on Signing in.\n\n__DefaultTiddlers__\nIf you list one or more tiddler titles here, they will be opened at the beginning of the wiki session when you open your wiki file.\n\n__MainMenu__\nThis can be a list of important tiddlers that you want to have quick and regular access to. They appear at the top of the wiki display area on the left side.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

ScholarTiddly is a variant of http://www.geetduggal.com\n which is a variant of a http://www.tiddlywiki.com\ncreated by Jeremy Ruston. \n\nIts design philosophy is centered around dealing with the tiddlers as one would a pile of notecards. \n\nOtherTiddlyWikis

__Lists__\nLists are one of the easiest things to do in TiddlyWiki, and that's saying a lot. Put an asterisk (*) at the beginning of any line you want added to a bulleted list. If you use two or three asterisks, you'll create second and third level bullets. Like this:\n\n*Entry One\n**Sub-entry A\n***Sub-sub-entry i\n***Sub-sub-entry ii\n**Sub-entry B\n*Entry Two\n*Entry Three\n\nHere's the code for the above list:\n\n{}\n\nNumbered lists are pretty easy too: Just use number signs (#'s) instead of asterisks:\n\n#Entry One\n##Sub-entry A\n###Sub-sub-entry i\n###Sub-sub-entry ii\n##Sub-entry B\n#Entry Two\n#Entry Three\n\nAnd, once again, here's the code:\n\n{}\n\n

__Images__\nAn embedded image looks like this:\n\n[img[Scholar Google logo|http://scholar.google.com/images/scholar_results.gif]]\n\nHere's how the code works:\n{}\n\nTwo notes about using images:\n#First, if you add images to the wiki, the wiki becomes less portable--you have to make sure that the wiki can get to the images you link to. You can make a separate directory for all your pictures. See #3 below.\n#Second, it's considered rude to "hotlink" images on other people's servers. Don't just directly link to someone else's image; download it onto your computer and upload it back to your own server or to a free image host like http://www.imageshack.us/.\n#Third, to link to an image on //your// computer, the code is like this [img[puja|file:///g:/./WikiPhotos/durgapuja1.jpg]] or \n@@color(green):durga puja@@[img[face 01|file:///g:/./wiki/face01.gif]]\n\n__Sound__\n\n\n!!!!HowToWiki\n
__External Links__\nYou aren't restricted to only linking to your own tiddlers: Here's how you link to something offsite, like the http://www.tiddlywiki.com.\n\nHere's a link to a file on a local drive file:///g:/./tagglywiki/SteveWiki_basic.html\n\n\n{}\n\n\n!!!!HowToWiki\n\n
